FirstTry CDL helps new drivers pass the CDL written test on the first try. It is owned and operated by Hive Asset Group, LLC.
What we are building
Most CDL practice sites sell you a pile of questions. We sell a result: you walk into the test center knowing you are ready.
That is why there is a Readiness Score that shows its evidence, a plan built around your test date and a Pass Promise.
How we work
- Accuracy comes before speed. A wrong answer on a safety test is a failure, so every question is checked before it goes live. See how we write questions.
- We cite our sources. Every rule, fee and format on the site links to an official source. See sources.
- Plain English. Many drivers are changing careers, and many speak English as a second language. We write short sentences.
- No ads, ever. You come here to study, not to be sold something else.
- No fake numbers. We do not show counters, reviews or pass rates until we have real ones.
What we are not
FirstTry CDL is not affiliated with any DMV, FMCSA or government agency. Our practice questions are exam-style questions built from the official CDL manual. They are not actual test questions.
