Who we are
FirstTry CDL is owned and operated by Hive Asset Group, LLC, 202 N. Cedar Ave., Suite #1, Owatonna, MN 55060 ("we"). By using this site you agree to these terms.
You must be 18 or older
This site is for adults. If you are under 18, do not use it.
What this site is, and is not
FirstTry CDL is not affiliated with any DMV, FMCSA or government agency. Practice questions are exam-style questions built from the official CDL manual, not actual test questions.
- The site gives you practice questions, explanations, a study plan and a Readiness Score to help you prepare.
- It is not legal advice, and it does not replace your state's official CDL manual. Rules, fees and test formats change and differ by state. Check your state's official source before you test.
- We do not promise that you will pass any test. Your state writes and gives the real test.
Your progress
Your practice history and results are saved in your own browser. We do not have a copy. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, you start over. See our privacy policy.
Paid access
When paid access is open, the price is shown before you pay. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription. Access lasts until you report a pass, up to 12 months from your purchase.
Our only guarantee is the Pass Promise. It is not a cash refund. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable.
How you may use the content
- You may use the site for your own study.
- Do not copy, scrape, resell or republish our questions, explanations or other content.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the site.
We own the site and its content, including our original questions and explanations. You get a personal, limited license to use them for your own study.
No warranty, and limits on our responsibility
We work hard to keep every question and fact accurate, and we cite our sources. Even so, the site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Hive Asset Group, LLC is not responsible for lost wages, test or retest fees, or other losses from using or relying on the site, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept it.
