The Pass Promise
Don't pass on your first try? Your access stays free until you do.
You also get a new plan aimed at what cost you points. That is the whole promise. Here are the terms in plain English.
What you get
- Your access to the FirstTry CDL Program stays open at no extra cost until you report a pass, up to 12 months from the day you bought it.
- A new targeted plan, built from your practice results and the topics that cost you points.
What you need to do
The Pass Promise applies when all four of these are true.
- You bought the Program.
- Your Readiness Score said READY for the test you took. That means a score of 85 or higher, your last three full practice tests each at 85% or better, and 90% of the question bank seen.
- You took the real test within 30 days of getting READY.
- You told us your result.
To tell us your result, Write to Hive Asset Group, LLC, 202 N. Cedar Ave., Suite #1, Owatonna, MN 55060. Say which test you took, when, and that you did not pass.
What it does not do
- It is not a cash refund.
- It does not pay your retest fee, your time off work or any other cost.
- It cannot promise you will pass. Your state writes and gives the real test, and we do not control it.
Why we do it this way
We tell you with evidence when you are ready. If we tell you that and you still miss, that is on us to fix. So you keep your access and we rebuild your plan around what happened, at no extra cost. Hive Asset Group, LLC stands behind it.

Common questions
Do I get my money back if I fail?
No. The Pass Promise is not a cash refund. You keep your access at no extra cost until you pass, and you get a new plan built around what cost you points.
Does the Promise pay my retest fee?
No. We do not pay retest fees.
How do I use the Pass Promise?
Tell us your result after you test. If you met the conditions on this page, we keep your access open and rebuild your plan.
How long does my access last?
Until you report a pass, up to 12 months from your purchase.
Does the Promise guarantee I will pass?
No one can promise that. Your state gives the test. We promise that you will not pay again while you work toward a pass, and that you will get a better plan if you miss.
